Newark New Jersey law enforcement is investigating a fatal shooting. Authorities have yet to identify a suspect in the homicide.
The violent incident occurred just after 8:30 p.m. on the 400 block of 18th Avenue in Newark, NJ. Two pedestrians suffered serious gunshot wounds in the shooting and were rushed to nearby University Hospital.

According to officials, the 28-year-old suspect was seen driving near South 19th Street and South Orange Avenue in Newark, NJ. A pedestrian reportedly spotted the suspect holding a handgun as he drove through the area.
