Montclair New Jersey law enforcement arrested a local man who allegedly threw a dog out of a motor vehicle in the middle of a road rage attack.
The suspect is a 22-year-old male resident of Montclair, NJ. He is reportedly employed as a Lyft driver and was working in that capacity when the alleged road rage incident occurred.
According to police, the suspect and another driver got into an argument while driving in Montclair, New Jersey. Both vehicles eventually pulled over on the side of Bloomfield Avenue and continued the argument.
Things reportedly turned physical, with the suspect allegedly grabbing a 12-year-old pinscher dog from the backseat of the other driver’s vehicle and tossed the dog onto the street.
The good news is that the dog suffered only minor bruises and is fully expected to be okay.
Meanwhile, the NJ SPCA Human Police and the Montclair Police Department investigated the alleged act of violence and later decided to file criminal charges against the Montclair suspect.
