Verona NJ Luring AttorneysPolice in Verona New Jersey are searching for a man who allegedly exhibited “unusual” behavior at a local preschool.

According to law enforcement, the suspect walked into the Creative Beginnings Preschool during the early morning hours. Once inside the school, which is located on Gould Street, the suspect began to ask employees about the program.

School workers asked the suspect several questions about his child, but he reportedly became evasive. According to witnesses, the suspect started to ramble and replied with answers that did not make any sense.

When a school employee turned their back to the suspect, the suspect quickly exited the school. He allegedly drove off in a four-door burgundy sedan.

Local police were immediately notified of the strange incident. Verona police officers came to the scene and looked for the suspect, but they were unable to find him.

Authorities released a description of the suspect. He is described as a white male in his mid-40s who stands approximately 6-feet tall. He has a thin build and brown, graying hair. Witnesses said that he was wearing a burgundy shirt, as well as glasses.

Verona police said that the investigation into the incident remains active and ongoing.

If police are eventually able to locate the suspect, he could potentially be subject to criminal charges. Depending upon the circumstances, he could be charged with trespassing or even luring.
