Newark Weapons Offense SuspectA former New Jersey corrections officer has been charged with weapons offenses after police officers reportedly found him carrying an illegal handgun in Newark, NJ.

The suspect, a 38-year-old Newark man, allegedly threatened a woman with the gun after getting into an argument with her.
