Police recently arrested two men on weapons charges during a routine traffic stop in the Newark’s South Ward.
Members of the Newark Firearms Interdiction Team were on patrol in the area of Fabyan Place and Beverly Street, near the New Jersey Institute of Technology, when they allegedly saw a car run through a red light.
