Newark NJ Gas Station BurglaryNewark law enforcement is looking for the person who reportedly burglarized a local gas station during the late-night hours.

The suspect reportedly broke into the Delta Gas Station Mini-Market on Clinton Avenue in Newark, New Jersey. According to law enforcement officials, the suspect gained access to the gas station after 1:00 a.m.

Once inside the station, the suspect allegedly stole cash, lottery tickets, and other items for sale.

Newark Public Safety Director Anthony Ambrose issued a statement about the break-in and indicated that authorities are actively investigating.

Anyone members of the public with information about the burglary are asked to call Newark NJ police.

If detectives are able to determine the identity of the culprit, that person could be charged with burglary and theft of movable property.
