Newark Juvenile Crime AttorneyNewark, NJ police recently arrested a juvenile who was allegedly an occupant of a stolen vehicle linked to several robberies in the city.

A short time after 3:00 a.m. Newark patrol officers saw a car that matched the description of a vehicle used in multiple theft incidents in Newark. The Newark cops tried to stop the vehicle, but the driver reportedly refused to pull over. Instead, the driver allegedly led police on a high-speed pursuit.

The police chase eventually ended in Union Township: the car crashed on Morris Avenue, near Route 22.

All three occupants of the stolen car reportedly exited the vehicle and fled the scene on foot. Police officers were able to capture one of the suspects.

The suspect who was apprehended by Newark law enforcement is a minor. As a result, it’s possible that he will be charged with juvenile offenses, not adult crimes.

The other suspects could potentially be charged as adults if they are apprehended by police.
