Newark Gun Crime LawyersNewark law enforcement recently arrested four local men accused of using a gun to threaten someone at a store.

The suspects were allegedly involved in a dispute at the Yeci Supermarket in Newark, NJ. At some point, the verbal altercation became a physical altercation and one of the suspects allegedly flashed a firearm.

The Newark Police Department got a 911 call about the violent incident and sent police officers the area. Shortly after arriving at the scene, Newark cops apprehended two of the suspects.

A third suspect allegedly got away temporarily and ran into a house located on the 100 block of Shepard Avenue. Police followed him to the residence and called for a Newark SWAT team.

After a two-hour standoff, police took the third suspect into custody.

The fourth suspect in the bodega incident was also placed under arrest at the house.
When Newark NJ police searched the residence, they allegedly discovered one loaded .9mm handgun, five paintball guns, one glassine packet of heroin, and 51 vials of cocaine.

The suspects have all been charged with a number of crimes, including unlawful possession of a weapon, terroristic threats, heroin possession, and cocaine possession.
