Newark NJ law enforcement recently apprehended a robbery suspect in East Orange, NJ.
The suspect is a 23-year-old resident of Newark, New Jersey. According to officials, the suspect and another man used a handgun to rob a 26-year-old Newark NJ man in February.
The two alleged robbers reportedly got away with the victim’s wallet, cash, and certain personal possessions.
Newark NJ detectives conducted an exhaustive investigation into the robbery and eventually determined the identity of one of the suspects. The Newark Fugitive Apprehension Team then tracked down the identified suspect on a street in East Orange NJ and placed him under arrest.
The suspect now faces criminal charges for armed robbery and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
