Newark New Jersey Robbery AttorneysPolice in Newark NJ apprehended a man accused of committing an armed robbery at a local business.

Police made the arrest around 10:00 p.m. The Newark Police Department got a 911 call about a domestic violence incident at a home located on the 400 block of Roseville Avenue in Newark, NJ.

When police officers showed up at the residence, an occupant of the home told them that a family member had committed a recent robbery. The prior week, the suspect allegedly robbed the Boost Mobile store located on Bloomfield Avenue in Newark, New Jersey. According to witnesses at the store, the suspect entered the building and was holding a knife as he stole expensive items, including a number of cell phones. The suspect then allegedly exited the store and fled the area on foot.

Newark NJ police searched the Roseville Avenue residence and reportedly recovered several cell phones that were reported stolen from the cell phone store. Police also reportedly found the knife used to commit the robbery.

The 31-year-old suspect, who resides in Newark, was placed under arrest and charged with several criminal offenses, including armed robbery and unlawful possession of a weapon.
