Glen Ridge Lewdness LawyersGlen Ridge NJ police are looking for a man who allegedly exposed himself to a passenger on an NJ Transit bus.

The suspect was riding on the bus when he reportedly exposed himself to a female passenger. The incident allegedly happened shortly after 10:00 a.m. on September 12.

Afterwards, the victim dialed 911 and notified the Glen Ridge Police Department.

The victim later spoke with police officers and said that the suspect exposed himself to her as the bus drove along Bloomfield Avenue Glen Ridge, New Jersey.

According to law enforcement, the bus driver became aware of the incident and brought the bus to a stop. At that point, the suspect allegedly got off the bus and fled the scene on foot.

The victim was able to give police a description of the suspect. The victim told police that the suspect is a male in his 50s and with a medium build. The suspect reportedly had a goatee and wore a grey t-shirt.

If investigators can identify and apprehend the suspect, he would probably be subject to significant penalties. As set forth by N.J.S.A. 2C:14-4, anyone who exposes himself in a public place to a non-consenting individual can be charged with a disorderly persons offense. A conviction on lewdness charges could lead to a sentence of 6 months in the Essex County Jail.
